We listen, understand, and provide care to elders
According to WHO, the number of individuals aged 60 and above will double by 2050, making up 22% of the global population. Since the elderly encompasses a significant portion of the population, their care has become indispensable. We aim to serve the geriatric population at a phase in life when they need assistance. Our comprehensive services enable and empower them to reimagine an independent and improved life. The impact of people’s life experiences and the survival quotient of each person differs by means of understanding and their response through decision-making skills. With growing age, cognitive ability and problem-solving skills start to decline. We listen, understand, and provide care to elderly people. The counsellors are equipped to recognise the unique psychological, emotional, and physical needs of the geriatric population. We provide home care services for the elderly in cases when they are unable to visit the centre.
Geriatric psychologists assist elderly individuals in coping with chronic diseases, senile dementia, and over-the-counter drug use. They also focus on improving cognitive function, managing over-the-counter drug use, and addressing psychological health issues like depression and anxiety. Additionally, they address social isolation through anti-loneliness techniques like social activities and community participation programs.
